Pastor: Sfg. Bishop David Sanders, Sr.

Praise The Lord,
Bishop was born on October 2nd 1942 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born the
eighth child of his family. He became fatherless at the young age of three
months old.
His mother Prayed and taught him every morning the Word of God. He was in
church until he was seventeen years old when he in the revival of the late
Bishop Robert McMaury where he received the Holy Ghost and church then got
into him. The church is his true family, consequently he feels at home with
Gods People everywhere.
Bishop has been faithfully married to his girl friend Evangelist Judith
Sanders for 43 years on December 1st 2005. He has 4 children David Jr.;
Andrea Lynn; Darin Merle; and Deanna Nicole; two grandsons Darin and Devin.
The Bishop first begin his ministry at the age of seventeen when his pastor
asked him to take over the Choir at Faith Temple Apostolic Church in San
Antonio, Texas. In 1960 he was elevated to Minister of Music over the Texas
State Young People Choir where he held that position for Twenty Years
(1980). Bishop served his church as Sunday School Superintendent and First
Vice-Superintendent of the Texas State Sunday School.
In 1981 the Lord called him to Preach and Teach the Gospel. He prepared
himself by taking some bible courses at the Believers Bible Institute. By
praying and lying before the Lord God gave Bishop David Sanders, Sr. a
unique way of presenting His Word. Hes excellent in type and shadows and
what they mean in the 21st Century.
Bishop was called to Pastor in Port Lavaca, Texas in November of 1985. In
June of 1994 Bishop was then elevated to District Elder and later elevated
in March of 2001 to the Office of Suffragan Bishop.
The Diocesan Bishop Robert Wauls appointed Bishop Sanders to the office of
Executive Secretary of the Texas State Council.
Bishop travels across the country Teaching, Preaching Revivals; Marriage and
Singles seminars which he and his wife have a lot of experience.
He has moved the church to a larger edifice by faith to 419 Colorado St. in
Port Lavaca, Texas where the Lord is continuing to Bless.
